At A BREAK DISABILITY & RESPITE we believe transport is an important key to social and economic participation for all people, whether it is a means to access the community, work, study, job-seeking, medical appointments or just to do errands. 

 

Our transport costs are determined through the NDIS kilometer rate guidelines in addition to the cost of a worker’s time, when accompanying and/or transporting participants in the community, they may negotiate with a client to make a reasonable contribution towards these costs. A clients plan may include funding for transport supports and this funding can be used to meet these types of contribution.
